Understand your lipedema. Organize your journey. Walk into your next appointment better prepared.
LipeGuide
About

We created LipeGuide to bring order to a journey that is still fragmented.

Living with lipedema often means making your way through many sources, opinions, professionals and attempts. LipeGuide was born to give that journey continuity: bringing together responsible information, day-to-day tracking and tools that help you understand and share your own story.

Our principles

Your body tells a story.
You deserve to be heard in full.

Many people with lipedema spent years being dismissed before they had a name for what they were feeling. Here, the starting point is believing you.

The LipeGuide way of caring.
01

Believe what you feel.

What you feel deserves attention and space, without judgment.

02

Fit into real life.

There are good days and hard days. Use it whenever you can, with no pressure to keep a streak.

03

Respect your time.

Explore, try things out and decide at your own pace.

Mission

To help women with a diagnosis or suspicion of lipedema understand signs, log what they feel, follow patterns and arrive better prepared for appointments, all in a single journey.

LipeGuide doesn't promise to control lipedema. The commitment is to organize the journey better than the sum of scattered searches, loose notes, memory and isolated appointments.

Who builds it

LipeGuide is a product of Aizon Technologies Ltda (CNPJ 60.624.185/0001-37), a Brazilian technology and artificial intelligence company.

How we select sources

Our lipedema content is written from sources cited at the end of each page. In order of priority, they are:

  • Consensus statements and guidelines, such as the Brazilian Lipedema Consensus and the US standard of care published in 2021
  • Public health bodies, such as Brazil's Ministry of Health and the NHS in the United Kingdom
  • Research and patient organizations, such as the Lipedema Foundation and the Brazilian Lipedema Association

How the articles are written

Each article separates what science already knows from what is still being studied and lists, at the end of the page, the sources behind each statement.

When sources disagree, the text shows the disagreement instead of picking a side. And no article replaces an evaluation by a health professional.

How we use AI

LipeGuide's assistants use language models from providers contracted by Aizon. They explain concepts, organize information and help you prepare questions for your appointment.

They don't diagnose, they don't prescribe, and their answers may contain mistakes. The assistants' names identify AI agents, not people or health professionals.

Transparency

None of the educational content on this site is sponsored. We don't publish made-up testimonials, numbers without sources or badges from partners who haven't authorized them.
